This thermal switch is designed to activate your fan relay when the fluid temperature reaches 180° F (82° C). The switch turns off when the temperature drops down to 165° F (74° C). Installs easily in any 1/8 NPT hole. Two 1/4″ spade terminals make electrical hook up easy. The switch is non-grounding, so it can be installed anywhere in the system. A green dot on the side of the switch identifies the 180°F version. Activation and reset temperature rating tolerances are +/- 3.6° F (+/- 2° C).
Note: This switch is not rated for the current draw of the fan. It must be used to control a fan relay.
